LOEWE has launched its ultimate collaboration with Studio Ghibli, the famend Japanese animated movie studio with The LOEWE x Howl’s Shifting Fortress capsule assortment.

This ultimate assortment reaffirms Anderson’s fondness for the world of Hayao Miyazaki following the success of Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro.

Launched in 2004, Miyazaki’s fantasy epic recounts a narrative of loyalty and compassion towards a backdrop of magic, imposing know-how and the damaging results of struggle. The story, says the designer, is “extremely resonating” within the present context. Key characters within the movie – Sophie, Howl, Calcifer and others – come to life by the garments and equipment, drawn as leather-based or shearling intarsia, changed into embroidery on leather-based or textile, or adorned with crystal and stud inlays on leather-based. They seem on baggage together with the Puzzle, Flamenco, Hammock, Amazona and Luna, in addition to the Bracelet pouch. Additionally they enliven small leather-based items, jumpers, jackets and shirts with particulars similar to appliqué, raffia or feathers, making them stand out as in the event that they had been alive.

This assortment of heartfelt, fulfilling, fantasy and sentiment is on the market in chosen shops worldwide this February.
